I think I have cracked this posting from diigo. I'll list off my method here so you'll all know what I'm doing, because wow, was I ever wrong about trying to use the RTE. I had a hellish time getting the cuts to work.
If you go to diigo, select just the tag you want, click on the 'best for edit and manage' icon up at the top of the list, you get ticky boxes beside each bookmark. If I select them all, or manually select the ones I want, I can choose send to blog from the more actions list.
Deep breath.
Then what happens is a nice little posting preview box shows up with those bookmarks I selected as a bulleted list. There is a button labeled Source on the toolbar. If you click that you get the html code for that lovely list, which is nice clean code, and can be selected as a block, cut and pasted into the Google docs template right between the <cut text="Gen"></cut> for example, and rinse and repeat with each tag and the post is made!
It does not mess up because of any unusual characters, and it's easy to paste it into the html editor of the DW posting box right in the right place to have the cuts formatted correctly. There's no spacing fixes needed or anything.
Semi-automatic posting!!!!
I'm good with that.

Now, what is needed is a little change in the way we are tagging:
Also--there is a comment here about a fic not listed--I don't even know if we are doing anon stuff off the kink meme? Can someone reply to that comment and let the person know if we tag that and if we have that one?

Now, what is needed is a little change in the way we are tagging:
- Please only put one category on your tag. An existing pairing or gen tag for fic, or the appropriate category for anything else. They are the categories on the current template here in Google docs.
- Please don't put pairing tags on vid or art, the bookmark ends up sorted into a list of fic when I go to post.
- I'm going to use that Google docs template to format the post. If you make a new tag over on diigo, add it to the template.
- Please don't make new pairing tags without adding to the template. I'll never find the bookmarks if they are not under a pairing tag I know to look for. Use the Neal/OC or Peter/OC for crossovers, and we'll make an Elizabeth/OC if we need to.
- Please note that Art is split into Icons & Wallpapers and Drawings & Manips. Please put one of those tags on Art. (I added Fanmixes into that section now too, so that's the third option there.)
- I will go through on Friday after I've made the post and delete all old non-conforming tags so we don't end up with confusion while tagging. I don't want to do it before then, since I don't want to miss anything we've already tagged.
